LME Warehouse Delivery out Rates and Procedures for Singapore

A. GENERAL

Our LME Warehouse Delivery Out Procedures (the "Procedures") are a guideline for the process and policies of our scheduling system, with regard to the allocation of loading slots for delivery out of material, which has been the subject of a cancelled LME warrant. The process and policies may be subject to amendment from time to time in which case, such amendments will be published on our website.

These Procedures are in conformity and in accordance with LME requirements and are applicable in addition to any specifically agreed terms with our Customers for cancelled LME warrants, at our approved LME warehouses. All services provided by GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd are subject to the GKE Group of Companies General Trading Conditions, a copy which is available upon request or which can be found on our website at: www.gke.com.sg

Customers must arrange full payment of FOT charges and LME Rents (accrued up to and including the warrant cancellation date for the cancelled warrants) to our designated bank account without deduction and/or set off. These payments must be made prior to requesting GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd to make booking arrangements for a collection. Details of any payments made must be given to GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd in writing.

With the intention of allocating loading slots in a fair and equitable manner to all customers and to minimize any delays, GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd will allocate loading slot(s) strictly on a first come first served basis and, only after receipt of payment of any FOT charge and LME Rent (presentation of SWIFT copy is not sufficient as proof of payment). GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd requires two working days' written notice in order to complete documentary formalities and, prepare the necessary loading slot(s).

LME Rent will continue to accumulate from the date of warrant cancellation up to and including the date of material collection from LME warehouse and, will be invoiced separately.

The FOT charge and LME Rent refer to a collection on the basis of customs uncleared, duty unpaid and shall be invoiced for:

LME Rent: Basis standard LME lot weight for the applicable material
FOT charge: Basis actual gross weight of material delivered out
 

The Customer must inform GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd of the collection method being used and provide information on shipping/collection arrangements, including required documentation such as but not limited to (proforma) invoice, packing list and shipping/delivery instructions, etc., specifying GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd's Warehouse Reference Number, metal type and quantity details.

Customs and/or GST formalities (where applicable) must be completed prior to any material being delivered out from our LME warehouses. Customer must ensure that all formalities and paperwork are completed and presented to GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd no later than 24 working hours prior to collection of material.

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday, local Public Holidays and days of port closures. Standard operational working hours at the GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd warehouse are as follows:

09.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday.
Lunch hour during weekday's is from 12.30 to 13.30.
Latest loading time out of the warehouse is 16.30 on weekdays.

GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd will advise Customers of any missed loading slot(s) within 1 (one) working day after close of business of the scheduled collection day in order to schedule a new loading slot. GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd is not responsible for any delays and/or subsequent charges if loading slots are missed.

B. DELIVERY OUT METHODS

Delivery out by truck

In addition to any specifically requested information, GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd must receive the following details no later than by 12.00 the day proceeding the collection day:

Company name of nominated haulage company.
Truck / Trailer registration plate numbers.
The Driver's full name(s).
The Driver's Identity Card (I/C) No.
Release instruction stating basis for release ( FOT, FOB, etc).
Commercial Invoice for Customs permit declarations.
Any other supporting documents as may be required by GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd.

Failure to provide this information may result in the cancellation of the collection and re-scheduling of the loading slot. The party collecting the material must ensure that any trucks arrive on time for the allocated loading slot. Trucks which arrive outside the allocated loading slot are not guaranteed to be loaded and may have to re-apply for a new loading slot. Late arrivals will however be accommodated on the same day, if the loading schedule permits.

On arrival, truck drivers must report to the Security Guardhouse at the warehouse compound and, be signed in at the Security Guardhouse office. Drivers must produce identification for signing in purposes. Any driver failing to comply with the reporting and signing in procedures shall be denied entry into the warehouse and, GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd shall not be held responsible or liable for any delays, consequences and/or subsequent charges arising, if the required information is not provided.

Truck drivers will be directed to the relevant warehouse for collection of material where the loading process shall be managed in sequential order of arrival until all scheduled vehicles are completed. Truck drivers must sign the Delivery Order at the warehouse after loading is completed and are responsible for the blocking, bracing, securing and lashing of the material and must at all times strictly adhere to all applicable safety rules.

Delivery out by container

In addition to any specifically requested information, GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd must receive by no later than 1 (one) working day prior to delivery of any containers, the following information:

Company name of nominated haulage company
Truck / Trailer registration plate numbers.
The Driver's full name(s).
The Driver's Identity Card (I/C) No.
The container number
The container seal number

GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd must be advised by no later than 1 (one) working day prior to the collection of any loaded container, the following information:

Company name of nominated haulage company
Truck / Trailer registration plate numbers.
The Driver's full name(s).
The Driver's Identity Card (I/C) No.

On arrival, Truck drivers must report to the Security Guardhouse at the warehouse compound and be signed in at the Security Guardhouse office. Drivers must produce identification for signing in purposes. Truck drivers must sign the Delivery Order at the warehouse when picking up the laden container and must at all times adhere to the applicable safety rules.

C. GENERAL OPENING AND OPERATING HOURS

The GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd warehouse is open for business from 09.00 to 18.00 weekdays (Mon to Fri) and, closed for business at weekends and Public Holidays.

Daily Warehouse loading operating hours:

The GKE Metal Logistics Pte Ltd warehouse provides loading services from 09.00 to 17.00. Cut off time for last truck arriving to load out cargo is 16.30.

D. RATES AND CHARGES

The above FOB delivery out charge excludes Terminal Handling Charges (THC). Minimum chargeable gross weight per 20' container is 20 (twenty) metric tons.

Other charges (as applicable and In Singapore Dollars) are as follows:

Heavy Lift Surchage S$100.00 per 20' container.
(Chargeable for a cargo gross weight of 21 mt up to a maximum of 25mt per 20’ container)
 
Customs Declaration and Permit Fee S$100.00 per set.
 
Detailed Packing List S$100.00 per Warrant.
 
Confirmation and Releasing Charge S$100.00 per release.
 
Metal Re-warranting US$5.00 per Metric Ton.
